The Vivahealth Medical Foundation will embark on its last medical outreach for the year 2022 come Friday the 2nd of December. The event which is slated to take place at Klefe, a community near Ho in the Volta Region will see medical and other essential professionals converge to offer free medical consultations and medications for entire community. The team as part of the exercise will also donate assorted relief items such as clothing, books and other stationery to the community in attempt to help mitigate their living conditions.
The health screening will typically cover areas such as high blood pressure, diabetes, hepatitis B and C, body mass index (BMI), martenal health, and malnutrition in children.
Ahead of their departure, the founder of the foundation, Major (Dr) Carl Nutsugah expresses joy regarding their preparations thus far and calls on the benevolence of the public to support in kind and cash to help fully realize their dream of impacting lives and supporting the marginalized in our communities.
The team is expected to arrive at the Klefe Dome park at 8:00am GMT to kickstart the event.
